457 Shea Hillenbrand - It says here that Shea was hit by a team-record 22 pitches in 2005. That's probably because he was such a poophead.
402 David Dellucci
448 Bobby Crosby
529 Kris Benson - In one year he went from an $8 million paycheck to a minor-league deal with the Phillies. That's what surgery can do to you.
434 Frank Catalanotto
545 Kelvin Escobar
428 Nick Green - I seem to remember him being a big deal as a rookie in Atlanta. What happened?
451 Curt Schilling - Wow, must have used a wide-angle lens for this one.
TS-MR Manny Ramirez Topps Stars
SC-RDS Richard Dobbs Spaight US Constitution
546 Andy Sisco - The tallest player in Royals history. That and a quarter will get you a gumball.
596 Buddy Bell MGR
583 Craig Counsell - Great action shot of Craig chasing a popup down the line.
333 Ryan Langerhans
455 Dontrelle Willis
408 Jon Lieber
334 Lew Ford - LEEEEEWWWWW! Talk about your unlikely All-Stars.
422 Aaron Cook
471 Runelvys Hernandez
557 Chris Burke
381 Odalis Perez
Checklist 3 of 3
MHR13 Mickey Mantle Home Run History #13 - Oh no! They're going to beat me over the head with these until I snap and try to complete the set.
569 Mike Jacobs
580 Frank Thomas - It's still weird to see him in anything other than a White Sox uniform.
630 Ronny Paulino RC
644 Ricky Nolasco RC
554 Kazuo Matsui
638 Brian Anderson RC - The card back mentions that Chicago traded Chris Young and Aaron Rowand to make way for Brian. How'd that work out?
621 Scott Olsen RC
651 Mets Middle Men: Jose Reyes and Kaz Matsui
612 Dodgers Team Card
658 Up the Middle: Ivan Rodriguez and Carlos Guillen
You're right, that is a great shot of Counsell doing what he does best: catching stuff. Any card photographer who takes a picture of one of his at-bats is wasting his or her time.
ReplyDeleteI must have missed Lew Ford, All-Star. Leeeeewwwww is now playing in Japan; the Twins' outfielder oversupply had no space for him in it in 2008.
