Just like the 2004 Opening Day pack I opened yesterday, 2006 Opening Day has the same design as regular Topps, only with cyan colored foil stamping. Unlike the '04 pack I opened yesterday, each '06 pack comes with one of 25 Opening Day exclusive SI for Kids inserts and a stick of bubble gum.

Speaking of which... Even though this pack is less than a year-and-a-half old, and each slab of bubble gum is individually sealed (for your protection), this did not prevent each stick from shattering like a wine glass at an Ella Fitzgerald concert when dropped onto a table from a height of 12-inches. And before you ask, no, I'm not eating it.

Again, since I don't collect Opening Day, all these cards can be had for the price of an SASE.
