2007 Topps Allen & Ginter Retail: Box #1 Pack #4
Base:
Bruce Lee
Gary Sheffield
Shea Hillenbrand
Corey Patterson
Kerri Walsh (SP)
Parallels:
Bobby Abreu A&G Back (1:5)
Putting Bruce Lee in A&G was priceless. Easily the coolest card of 2007 not involving a member of the Minnesota Twins outfield. But I'm surprised that Topps didn't SP it though. On the other hand, I did pull a short-print of pro beach volleyball star Kerri Walsh.
Sure-fire way to get your ass kicked: Attend an AVP Beach Volleyball tournament and scream at the top of your lungs: "Hey Kerri! I got your TA&G SP right here!"
Wait ten seconds.
Then start running from the rent-a-cops.
Bobby Abreu is one of the handful of cards that Topps formatted horizontally. (The reverse sides are all vertical.) You'll need a microscope to see the details of Bobby's head.
Somewhere, there's a Mr. Tyzik reference waiting to be dropped; but I'm above that.
